We know that in Nov.15 HD 3800 will begin to sell. But we still don’t know that RD790 and Phenom X4 will come out earlier(than the AMD plan) or not.
Here is some news that every AMD fanboy would like:

We already knew RV670 will become HD 3850 and HD 3870. According to some comments, we now fully understand what’s the name HD 38X0 stands for:
HD3870(RV670XT): core/memory: 800MHz/2400MHz,512MB GDDR4,suggested retail price: CNY2299(307.5 USD)
HD3850(RV670Pro): core/memory: 700MHz/1800MHz,256MB GDDR3,suggested retail price: CNY1699(227.3 USD)

In yesterday’s QX6850 VS QX9650 VS PhenomX4 we’ve already understand what situation Phenom may face. Some of you suggested that maybe let Phenom run some “normal banchmark” to see it’s real protential. So now we are sharing the latest Superpi score of Phenom X4.
The test bed is the same one in yesterday, also the same Phenom X4 OC to 3GHz, same 790FX ( Gigabyte MA790-DQ6 is already selling in Guangzhou about CNY2588, about 346USD ), 1Gx2 dual channel memory in 375MHz x2, WinXP. But we adjusted the memory to 3-3-3-9-1T.

Thanks to the built-in CPU/GPU branchmark system of Crysis, we can easily finish CPU/GPU branchmark on this game. The GPU branchmark will finish today, before that let’s have some branchmark score of CPUs:QX6850,QX9650,Phenom X4.For more balance, Phenom X4 is already OC to 3GHz(15×200MHz) .Because the built-in Memory controller of Phenom have some auto setting funtion, so the memory frenquency is set to 375MHz automatically.

Sources in Gigabyte told us today that gigabyte are not going for DDR3 X48. They are now focus on developing DDR2 X48.
We know that in the planning stage, Intel want all X38 and X48 only support DDR3. Because of the pressure from consumers and manufacturers, Intel finally let X38 support DDR2, but X48 remains unsupported.
Let’s hope Gigabyte’s unilateral action will finally success.
BTW, Abit saids they won’t gonna have DDR3 X38, All their X38 supports DDR2.
We already have a post about the Nvidia 65nm new 8400 GS. And today we will continue to talk about AMD’s5nm RV620.In the current market the main selling point of the low-end graphics cards is HD video playback, game performance is second. Of course, in HD playback, AMD gone more than the extreme, not only to achieve the first H.264 and VC-1 full hardware decoding (we believe that the current software still failed to full-use of this function), but also have built-in HDMI output signal.

AMD’s HD 2400 Pro is always the first choice of those digital home FullHD playback users.(of course the driver have been a problem for some time) . NV fears and now pushing the new 65nm 8400GS.

We mention couple times that the frequency of 8800GT will be 600/1800/1500(core/memory/shader). But nTune can only read the core and menory frequency(missed shader frquency), and Rivatuner2.05 and ATi Tool beta2 can not recognize the brand new 8800GT, so we can’t have a good screen-print. That’s why we searching the net for other tools to show us the frequency right. And friend told us that Gainward Expertool can support Geforce 8 series card. so we have a try about that.

In those days everyone talked about G92 equal to 8700. But after 8800GT announced, all of us forgot the name “8700″. But an info today form our source surprise us: 8700 still exists. But what core will it use?
Let’s see what’s in the upcoming G9X series: entry level new 8400GS(G98), high end 8800GT(G92)and a even higher 8800GTS(G92)。

8800GT has 112SP:
So sorry that our yesterday’s news have make some mistakes. Now we are sure that the upcoming 8800GT in the late Oct will only have 112SP version. And it is the downsteam manufactor’s decision to producce 256 or 512MB 8800GT. It is said that the final version may have those green stock cooler(the ref. version is black.)
8800GT frequency comfirmed:
8800GS,8800GT,8800GTS all uses 65nm G92 GPU, the difference is the SP number. What’s more,we are now sure the 8800GT frequency is 600MHz/1800MHz/1500MHz (core/memory/shader).the prize is between 199~249 USD.
Documents didn’t say anything about DX10.1:
So many people are concerning about the DX10.1 support issue. But it is said that the offical document did not mention anything about DX10.1,just saying “Full Microsoft® DirectX® 10 Support” .But we are sure that AMD are preparing more.
Some result leak in the web:
The Mobile01 said that 8800GT @ Q6600 can hit a really good score: 3DMark03: 35351/ 3DMark05: 14679
So it is almost all we’ve got. remember that the release date is Oct.29th.
NV now are having the 3-way SLI driver testing. Actaully the Driver are already handed out to the downsteam mainnufacters for weeks. The progress of the tests are going well. but we should notice the special 3-way bridge in the PIC. 680i SLI can not play 3-way SLI without the bridge. Without the bridge the bandwidth of PCIe1.0 are not enough for three card SLI.

Of course things are not that easy. Even you’ve got the driver, the 3-way bridge and a 680i SLI, you cant play 3-way with only that. What we need are three expensive 8800 Ultra or GTX.
We already know the 8800GT(G92) will come out with 780i SLI in the middle of Nov, and NV pull 8800GT to Oct. 29th. then when will 780i SLI debut?
