We mention couple times that the frequency of 8800GT will be 600/1800/1500(core/memory/shader). But nTune can only read the core and menory frequency(missed shader frquency), and Rivatuner2.05 and ATi Tool beta2 can not recognize the brand new 8800GT, so we can’t have a good screen-print. That’s why we searching the net for other tools to show us the frequency right.And friend told us that Gainward Expertool can support Geforce 8 series card. so we have a try about that.

With the Expertool we OC the 8800GT to 700/2000/1700MHz(core/memory/shader) and have a test. But coz of the pressure of NV, we cant release the score.

Of course Gainward is not making the Expertool by themselves. They are using some funtions in the NV driver to make the shader OC possible. installing Expertool reqires forceware 163.17beta or newer. So it is clear that NV will release a new version of ntune before the 8800GT launch day.

By the way, we have dream pc in our hands now, it’s using the lateest tech. Tonight everything will up and running and we will begin our small test. Please keep tuned.
