Platform without a chassis

reference GeForce 8800GT idle mode: 53C. stock cooler’s fan mode is auto.

Zotac’s waterblock 8800GT have 36C in the same situation.17C cooler then reference 8800GT.

In load mode reference 8800GT have insane tempature: 90C.Of course fan mode is auto.

Zotac’s waterblock 8800GT @ load mode is 52C.

The watercooling solution lower the tempatue a lot comparing to the weak stock cooler.
