Final thoughtsThere is safety issues in this zotac’s waterblock 8800GT, esp the connectors of the waterblock. Another isssue is the noicy problem. Coz the lack of speed regulation button or other way to adjust the rotate rate of the fan, the water solution loses its important selling point: quiet. We suggest Zotac to improve the 5.25 black box, just add and button on it is not a big deal to the company but it sure help it sells. But in other aspect, Zotac’s card is good. Thanks to the waterblock and the sansung memory, the card have a good OC ability.

Even in OC, the waterblock can control tempature quite well. But the price is also expensive. In China it is about 2499RMB(about 337RMB), higher than a reference 8800GT plus a Thermalright HR-03 GT.

Good:

Factory OCed 8800GT, 700/2000MHz(core/mem).

Samsung GDDR3 memory.

Waterblock is good and easy for install for even a light user.

Con:

Connectors have Safety issues.

Noicy fans, and don’t have any speed adjustment!

No heatsink for memory chips.
