We still waiting for the release date of G92-8800GTS, but seems someone in Europe already got a retail version. The 8800GTS is an OC version with its frequency up to 675/1970MHz(core/mem). Please notice the box, it seems BFG keeping there lifetime warranty maketing stategy in the latest 8800GTS. Compare to 8800GT, 8800GTS just have a few percentage advantage. Those extra SP is useless?

Korean company Unitek unveils their latest 8800GT using brand “Legend”. It is a factory OCed version, frequency is 650/1900MHz(core/mem). The card using Palit’s non reference PCB design, and a 3 phase power module. Though its inductor have no any mark on it, but Sanyo and NCC’s solid capacitors is really impressing.

Few days ago we have a small comparison of power module’s of 8800GTS and 8800GT. Actually they are using the same PCB design, same Qimonda HYB18H512321BF-10 memory chips. The only difference is their frequency, numbers of SP and their power module(8800GT: 2 phase; 8800GTS 3 phase).
So does the same spec brings the same power consumption to both card? We will see:
