Unika’s HD 3850 Infinity: first RV670pro with GDDR4!

Did you ever heard of HD 3850 equipped with GDDR4 memory? Here it is. This Unika HD 3850 512MB “Infinity” version have a petty memory set: 8 FBGA packed Hynix 16Mx32bit 0.8 nano-second GDDR4.

Of course you may notice the PCB is a non-reference shorten version, with a ordinary cooler. Actually the PCB is design and made by Triplex.

Because of the GDDR4, the card factory overclocked to a high clock: 700/2200MHz(core/mem), almost catch up with reference HD 3870.The most important is the price is not even changed, 1499RMB, about 200 USD and you can own this card.

    Sweet. But price of the reference 3850 is around 180$ or 160 e.

    This card is only a little bit cheaper than 3870 (770&2400). Probably better to buy 3870 for a bit more, or 8800gt 256/512 (if you can find it anywhere)
