9600GTS(?) comparison test
Our friend in bbs.pconline.com manage to have a comparison test on 9600GTS, 8800GT and HD 3850. The test is done on the same platform. The 9600GT is using a modded 169.09 driver.
In the test the 9600GT have a simular score with HD 3850. All these cards are at their reference clock:
8800GTÂ Â Â 600/1500/1800MHz(core/shader/mem)
9600GTS(?)Â 650/1500/2000MHz(core/shader/mem)
HD 3850Â Â 668/1660MHz(core/mem)

How the f*ck can you have a test with the 9600GTS?!
And in the pics its not even the 9600GTS!
And its confirmed that its going to come out first!
Then post some pics with the REAL test!

Well, first card will be 9600GT not GTS. And all I can see is the test with 8800Gt with ATI 3850. And that’s ridiculous…

Maybe the modded 169.09 driver didn’t display the correct name of the new 9600GTS in the 1st pic……And did you see that some spec on GPU-Z are missing?

to ME: this source from bbs.pconline
to lueng:yes,it used moded driver, and for now ,there is no driver for 9600gt,like GPU-Z.

This may be reviving an old thread but it’s the BIOS, not the driver that will determine how a card shows up in GPU-Z.
