Intel E8500 3.16GMHz 6MB L2 ready to roll

Engineering sample’s box is pure white.
The CPU E8500, is a dual core 45nm processing,333MHz*9.5 mutliper, L2 6MB shared cache. CPU TDP is 65W, but Intel thinks only a small aluminum cooler can handle the heat.
We don’t know the price about the product but it will release very soon.

The cooler in the package.

Very slim but Intel think it can handle E8500’s heat.

Truely the cooler seems very flimsy. Although i never used Intel’s coolers, this small cooler is indication that the new cpu will be very easily cooled. I can’t wait to get my hands on a 45nm cpu and see how much overclock it will withstand with my thermalright ultra 120 cooler.

Fanless maybe possible.
