XFX GeForce 8800 GS 680M XXX 384MB revealed

Following Palit and ASUS, XFX rolling out 8800GS finally. The PCB is self-designed by XFX and using black PCB for sure, the cooler is single slot, looks better than Palit’s.

The card is clocked at 680MHz/1600MHz(core/mem) factory overclocked, and with memory chip made by XXXXXX. The product code is PV-T88S-FDD4, will Begin selling in some europen countries in Jan 16.The price will be around 160 Euro, about 238 USD.

To let you know how big the gap is between 8800GS and 8800GT, here is the quick comparison between 8800GS 384MB and a 8800GT 512MB, too bad it is a Palit version clock at 575/1700MHz(core/mem), we will have a test on XFX GeForce 8800 GS 680M XXX soon.

    i dont understend why this card is to be release ?
    9600GT looks better than 8800GS and the price OMG 238USD?
    what is the price tag for 9600GT 160USD
    8800GT 256 cost 219$ in newegg.com
    i dont get it…

    @creative the 8800gs isnt for the consumer, unlike the 9600gt.
    also only a few 8800gs will be sold, so well this card is pretty rare.

    The cooler looks too small, and its an overclocked version. And the price shouldn’t be so high.
