This info is only good for people that play UT3. Just because performance in one game is better doesn’t mean it’s better in another game aswell. I hope people realize that when they view these results.

I review drivers myself from time to time and I can assure you that some drivers can boost performance in one game by 3% and reduce performance in another by 4%.

    “2x EVGA Geforce 7950GT SLI”
Its only relevant for SLI and gf7 series.

Yeah, so basicly this news is usefull for 1% of all Nvidia users ( and I really doubt it’s 1% :D )

Pretty harsh comments, guys. But by that logic, people who post scores on 3d Mark 2006 would only be useful to people who benchmark 3d Mark 2006. And then that data would only be comparable to people who have the exact same video card.

If you look at the Guru 3d nVidia Drivers section you can see feedback from dozens of people who report similar same results using 8800 nVidia cards. They also indicate that the performance gains are seen in Crysis, let alone the games that use the Unreal Engine 3 (Gears of War, Bioshock, etc.)

The 171.xx series are the top of the heap for XP users, and since I’m a UT fan I put up some my results from my favorite game. My site is a fan site about what I like and the information is free. The data is more universal that you’d probably like to admit, but if you want to compare more games than this, be my guest and make your own site! ;)
