9800GTX got a 8800GTS 512MB cooler
This is a 8800GTS 512MB cooler. But it also is a 9800GTX cooler.
The cooler inside 9800GTX is the same one of 8800GTS 512MB. They got the same fin, same heatpipe placing, and same fan(BFB1012L,12V๏ผ0.48A). The cooler is OEM by CoolerMaster.
But of course the shell of the cooler are re-designed to fit the length. The color is black with a big white eye on it.

As the 9800gtx is just an 8800gts 512 w/ higher clocks and triple sli support, it’s no surprise it also uses an 8800gts 512 cooler.

Wow, they have a picture of an 8800GTS cooler that they say is used on the 9800GTX! It must be true! The only big white eyes around here are on the fools dumb enough to believe that this site got it’s hands on a9800GTX.
God hasn’t been able to get his hand on this card.

In the past Expreview has always hit the nail on the head with the preproduction stuff. I don’t see any reason why this card would be any different.

Well, not existing in the first place is quite a big obstacle to get your hands on *anything*.

They also uses the same driver, you can install the 9800gtx driver on a 8800gtx by having disk under device manager on vista sp1 and you will get the card as 9800gtx, try it to worked for me (msi 8800gts oc version)
