GeForce 9800GTX have flagship card length!

9800GX2 and3870 X2’s length comparison. The are at the same length. So does the new 9800GTX.
The length of a graphic card sometimes reflects the card’s performance and the market place in the same gen. look at these new flagship card, they got the same card size, 267mm.(but because of 9800 GX2 have a dual slot shell, so it just look bigger)
9800GTX is not a flagship card but it also as long as 267mm, a flagship length. That’s because P392 PCB design adds a Mio connector for the 3-way-SLI.

I didn’t make fun of it: I am aware that they are somwhere in Asia,
but if you have a website like this - spell check!
Thanks for fixing this, Jeff.
Yes, T & G are close, but to do the funny mistake 10 times is too obvious.
Nervermind, tho! I appreciate your website

That was nasty - I really wouldn’t call the GeForce girl “flat”.
Although admittedly, she doesn’t come even close to Ruby in that area!

FREAKING GUYS! They just showed us a pic of 2 cards that aren’t the 9800GTX as proof of the card’s length. Where is the pic of the actual card? Why didn’t they show that for comparison if they actually had one? What a crock of lies.

To me, that length is a disadvantage (because most people have mid-sized cases with hard drives in the way).
And my condolences for people who buy it with only 512MB of RAM, when it could do nicely with 1GB of RAM. Otherwise, just get that 8800GTX/Ultra and enjoy 40-50% more memory bandwidth and 50% greater memory buffer, with a maybe 15% slower core (although with 50% more ROP’s). All the benefits with the memory definitely means a smoother gaming experience as it does not limit the core like a sputtering/stuttering bottleneck. I have already experienced 3 games this year that utilizes around 700MB of memory @1920×1200 or lower. Crysis already uses 700MB at only 1600×1000 at High settings, 0x FSAA.
