9800GTX will hit the market in March 25

Our source conformed that 9800GTX will hit the market in March 25. It is the second or third 9 series card by NVIDIA. While we can expect the 9800GX2 will be as high as 6XX USD, the price of 9800GTX still keeps unknown. We know a single 9800GTX only performs like its predecessor, but maybe it is born for 3-way SLI.

I have a feeeling Nvidia is giving us a bigger, better set of pricing options and performance because of the massive gap between 7 an 8 series cards. Im willing to bet that no 9k series card will have everything that was originally promised; however, the 9k series will offer more competitive prices with less power consumption and more performance. During the end of the 9k series most likely towards next year (2009) Nvidia will probably release the new G100 chipset.

9800 GTX, rechew g92 with faster chip. nVidia is playing all of us. Let all wait until G100 or G200 series.

if the 8800gx2 sucks, do you think that the gtx will somehow be better with one core? it will most likely end up slower then the hd 3870 x2 and won’t even challenge the revised version coming in a short few weeks. Nvidzilla couldn’t even make the gx2 look good
