AMD roadmap updated with B3 Phenoms
AMD finally fixed the annoying TLB bug in their Phenoms and pushing it out again with stepping B3. Phenoms with B3 stepping will be called 9850, 9750, 9650, 9550 and 9150. All of them will hit the market within two weeks, according to Digitimes.
Also, triple core Phenom with a lower price will first enter OEM market and invade retail market later. we can expect 8750, 8650 and 8450 in the end of April. But before all this, AMD will launch a dual core CPU, Athlon 64 X2 5800+, Athlon 64 X2 5600+ Black Edition and 4600+ to fill the gap between current dual core and future triple core CPU.
But there are several CPU facing EOL: Athlon 64 X2 6400+, 6000+ and 5600+ (89W versions) won’t ship any new product after the end of March.
