9800GTX pushed back to April Fool’s Day
According to multiple sources, 9800GTX’s launch day pushed back to April Fool’s Day.
This is not fooling because words has it that the driver of 9800GTX is not ready yet. We guess a single 9800GTX runs well under todays driver (because it still using G92 core), but the card’s biggest feature is 3 Way SLI, and NVIDIA doesn’t want to launch without the 3-way. They have already failed to launch a proper Qaud SLI driver for 9800GX2 in the launch day.
9800GTX’s main feature is 3-way SLI. Without a stable, 3Way SLI enable driver, NVIDIA won’t release the card, so let’s hope the driver team can get the job done before April.

A 9800GTX is an 8800GTS with a 9 slapped on the end of it, nothing more, if you have a 9800, you have an 8800, if you have a 9800 you are a fool and have an 8800, simple as.

It has AA optimisations which should see a massive boost in AA performance and supports tri sli, so if you were not a fool and rushed out to buy an 8800 series and are now looking for the next best upgrade, this is it, you get a power efficient 8800gtx that does not superheat the inside of your PC case with better performance and less polar ice cap meltage! All for a few hundred quid less!
Sweet!

Oi dont use my name damnit!
9x series dont have AA optimizations tbh, like the 9600GT they have some chip or something and the clock is linked to the PCI-E so overclocking the PCI-E Bus causes the clock speed to increase more but you still see the stock clocks.
Dont know how it exactly works havent adsorbed it into my mind yet.
The 9600GT is essentially a cut down 8800GT, less SP’s, its 50Mhz higher clocked too, so in less shader intensive games its bound to be on par or faster than the 8800GT untill the shaders start been stressed.

I’m the real one, I’m from UK but as I’m on AOL it reports me as been from the USA, logins are needed, I know who the other person is now, its not my fault someone wanted to use my name, you should have some script that stops duplicate names from different IP’s.
