According to Digitimes, AMD’s latest innovation, RV770 is going to debut in late Q2. The Latest info said the card will have 480SP, is the first VGA card using GDDR5 graphic memory. The product lineup is pretty like the current HD 3800 series, all the mid to high end product of next-gen is based on RV770, their only difference will be their frequency and the memory size.
On NVIDIA’s side, they are now shrinking G92 to 55nm, codenamed G92b. The shrink not only because they need a new product to fight with RV770 but also they want to lower the G92′s production cost. As NVIDIA’s next gen flagship, GT200′s detail information is still unknown.
