Review: NVIDIA GeForce 9500GT,first budget card in GeForce 9 series
â—† 9500GT Performance linked with PCI-E frequency
TPU is the first to expose GeForce 9600GT’s performance linked with PCIe frequency. And this time we find out that even a 9500GT do have this features.

Multi-texturing Comparison: 9600GT @ different PCIe clock vs different core clock
Let’s look back to 9600GT, every 1% PCIe clock increase will also increase 1% of 3DMark 06 Multi-Texturing score. But if we fix PCIe to 100MHz, only increase GPU clock, then the line is a different story. Increase core clock to 3% is no difference comparing to 1% stage, but when you increase to 4% , the score will raise up again, and the score is higher than the number we get via change PCIe clock.
9500GT also have this feature, but the numbers are totally different:

Multi-texturing Comparison: 9500GT @ different PCIe clock vs different core clock
Different from what it used to be in 9600GT, the effect of changing GPU core frequency is less than PCIe clock change.

Can Expreview please retest with the latest leaked Nvidia Geforce 175.63 drivers? Also the GPU-Z version is very old, it’s now up to 0.2.1.
