Because the third PCIe X16’s lane is provided by MCP chips, so the frequency adjusting is isolated form the first and second PCIe x16.

SLI-Ready Memory (EPP2.0)

FSB ranged from 400 to 3000MHz.

Memory can be manually adjust up to DDR3 2500MHz.

fist I would thank you for your great job!!!
but I have a question I hope you’ll answer me:
I’d like to buy this mobo with OCZ Flex II XLC 2 x 1 Go PC16000 and a E8500, is it a good choice to do a good overclock ?
