The mobo uses a special designed cooler, fully covers hot spots like MOSFET, SPP and MCP.
North bridge, such a tall cooler certainly will block some CPU coolers.
Bundled with a additional fan for north bridge.
That’s only normal metals, no heatpipe under it.

but I have a question I hope you’ll answer me:
I’d like to buy this mobo with OCZ Flex II XLC 2 x 1 Go PC16000 and a E8500, is it a good choice to do a good overclock ?
