    just wondering; if the 4870 has 2 power connectors how many will the 4870×2 have….. 4? that sounds pretty insane

    No, the 4870×2 will simply have 1x6pin and 1x8pin or two 1x8pin… the 4870 only BARELY needs the second 6 pin because it uses 157watts max, which is only 7 watts over what the PCIe slot+1x6pin provides.

    Waiting for something doesn’t make one a geek. My lifestyle other than my love for computers does not make me a geek, far from it. I am more of a car enthusiast. Similar concept, go fast parts, look pretty, make lots of power, flaunt and show :)
