alienware announces tri-sli GTX 280 game PC

After a long wait for the embargo day, alienware ultimatly announced three game PCs equiped with GTX 280. What attract us most must be the tri-sli GTX 280 system – the Area-51 ALX. In spite of three GTX 280, the Area-51 ALX features an overclocked QX9770 which jump from 3.2GHz to 4.0GHz. Here are something other features:

  • NVIDIA 790i Ultra SLI chipset
  • 1600MHz DDR3 memory
  • 600GB 10,000RPM hard drive

The Area-51 ALX is priced at $4599, while the dual GTX 280 $1699 and the single GTX 280 1199.
