Use your CF card to build a SSD

kuroutoshikou will launch the dual CF commutator KRHK-2XCF2.5SATA on mid-July. The commutator features dual CF slot. It can run at RAID 0/1 mode to support two CF cards in same capacity, or run at JBOD mode to support two CF cards in different capacity. If you are bothered by your limited EeePC storage and the SDD is too expensive, that will be a good choice.

The KRHK-2XCF2.5SATA is priced at 9800 yen, as much as $88.2.

Using two or four CF-cards in raid instead of buying SSD is not anything new. Here’s an article about it (even though I don’t think that you understand danish):

The controller used is an “Addonics Quad-CF RAID-controller” bought at the dutch webshop http://www.webconnexxion.com/raid/index.php
