The Sapphire HD 4850 in blue breeze

 

Lately, Sapphire announced it’s HD 4850 in completely blue. Featuring a blue PCB, 1GB GDDR3 and a new cooler, the Sapphire HD 4850 feels like the breeze to attract ATI fans. It will be perfect if the card is as cool as it looks.

GTX 200 series Availability Check

 

The GTX 280 & GTX 260 were priced as high as $649 & $499 at first.However, after the debut of HD 4800 series which priced at $329 & $199, people found they are much stronger for their price comparing to the GTX 200 series, forcing NVIDIA to drop price.

As we know, the GTX 280 & 260 droped to $549 & $369 yesterday, but when we checked on the price on Newegg today, we found three GTX 280s priced at $499, including the Palit, Gigabyte & Asus. Even more, MSI’s GTX 260 has droped to $299.

GeForce 9800GTX+ announcment date: July 16th

 

As an official answer to AMD’s Radeon HD 4850, NVIDIA will launch 9800GTX+ in July 16th.  Previously we said the day will be July 25, and it seems NV want to push it. Though NVIDIA will give production right to its partners but the first wave will be NVIDIA reference version only.
