India develops $10 laptop for education(update)

 

Indian Institute Of Science and Indian Institute Of Technology are working together to develop a new $10 laptop. Aimed to be used for education purpose, the $10 laptop will sustain education in depressed area.

Besides Indian government is also planning to set out a program providing free bandwidth to all citizens.
