ThermalTake annouces RamOrb memory cooler

Yesterday Thermaltake announced a new member of Orb series - the memory cooler RamOrb. Weighting for 136g, it contains a aluminium heatsink, a 6mm heatpipe and a 50mm fan as the pics show. Recent version support DDR/DDR2 only.

The average life span of the small fan is 50,000 hours. Providing 4500RPM though, it won’t makenoise above 20DB. The RamOrb is expected to hit shelves by the end of this month. Versions with DDR3 support will come out later. No words about price yet.

    It should be tested to be praised for its performance, but I can say that the design is clever.
