AC’s new GPU cooler, Twin Turbo arrives!

AC’s new GPU cooler Twin Turbo has already hit the shelf in Hongkong for a few days, and today we receive one. Twin Turbo is a dual fan, 4 heatpipe GPU cooler, when it cools GPU, also can help to lower PCB’s temperature.

With two big fan, AC claims the Twin Turbo can emit as much as 120W heat.

Both 8CM fan are quite slient, runs at 12V 0.15A.

Pre-applied with MX-2

30 fins, four heatpipes and two 8CM fans may enough for this hot summer.

Thanks kin, I was waiting for this cooler review since the last Ice age !!
BTW, it will be much better if the review included the latest Zalman, Thermaltake & Thermalright and other vendors high-end VGA coolers too..

Also add Accelero S1 rev.2 to the review… It seems that what would make us happy is that you add the Twin turbo to the GPU cooler roundup that you announced in T-Rad2 review

this will be very good roundup indeed !!
sadly all these high-end coolers doesn’t get-rid of the hot air outside the case like the reference cooler does, so they cool the VGA very well but also raises the heat inside the system, alot of users are forced to buy a more effective case fan whan they decides to go for these third party high-end coolers !!

I gave up on Arctic Cooling releasing this cooler and purchased a Thermaltake HR-03-GT for my 4870. It’s nice, but I really loved my Accelero S1 V2 on my 8800GT. So since I was really looking forward to the Twin Turbo, I still may purchase one of these simply for the spread cooling that the twin fans can give it. You need a ton of air on the chips, not necessarily on the cooling fins themselves from the GPU to almost the back of the vid card. Hopefully, A/C got the message on using cheap ram sinks with crappy adhesive on their Accelero S1’s. By the way, it is available now from Aero Cooler for a premium price of $39.99 plus around $16 shipping. Not a good deal as far as I’m concerned.

@Xajel
Thanks for your attention~
The review on AC Twin Turbo is included in our 13 VGA coolers roundup
so it maybe a bit slow but just be patient.

Does anyone know if this cooler is compatible with a Geforce 7900GS AGP version, seems like there’s no high-performance cooler made for it…
Thanks…
