[IDF]Ibex Peak show up with Socket 1160
What can talk mainstream HavenDale and Lynnfield without Ibex peak, which features single chip design. There’s only one chip instead of two(North bridge and South bridge) on board, and which features Socket 1160. To know more about Ibex Peak, you can read our earlier report.
Now Ibex Peak shows up in IDF to satisfy us. Although the motherboard is frugal(it may be used to teast the functions), we can see the most significant feature of Ibex Peak: single chip instead of two(SouthBridge and NorthBridge). Besides, Crossfire and dual channel DDR3 support. And the SO-DIMM unveil mobile platform will derive, Calpella perhaps.
It’s worth expecting.
