Good (or bad?) hardware propaganda
Gainward just released some propaganda photos, to promote their HD 4850… Guys you like this kind of propaganda? I guess Gainward marketing team read too much I4U these days.

Yes! I like this a lot. More companies should do these types of propaganda!

O.o _ I’m not gay and i don’t like this sh*t cause females and computer-electronics don’t fit together.. that just the way it should be.. not good… not good at all…
And i think that those cards sell their self good enough without that girl…

EDIT: WITHOUT THOSE GIRLS , My browser didn’t update the last three pics.

yeah I like this kind of propaganda, we have to be honest, what do you like to see when you are on those big places announce new hardware products?, yes thats it, women and computer stuff, so for me , this is not bad at all!!

Sex sells. Enough said.
Seriously, I like that kind of propaganda. We need more hotness(beside the heat exhausted per parts…) in the PC industry!

IMHO, whatever spins your wheels. I don’t like it. If this makes me Ga-hay, then i am a happy chap.

Nice figure

Blurryyy purpose …., about selling graphic cards or selling those girls
September 3rd, 2008 at 1:08 pm
When I am looking for an electronic component I don’t want to be distracted by other types of sex.
It’s like they are saying: “This is a lousy junk of shit but look at our chicks !”
September 3rd, 2008 at 5:02 pm
Oh, it seems everybody thinks differently..
September 3rd, 2008 at 6:00 pm
Oh man why is this page so slow to load?? its killing me
September 3rd, 2008 at 7:24 pm
The first girl is too skinny with toothpicks for legs.

I can’t see on these pictures if there is any rad on the VRMs? Anyone knows?
And, about the marketing … Guess they have a budget to spend … but I’d have prefered a nice rad on the VRMs or a display port instead.

The graffiti in the background of the first image is distracting. They should have edited it out. Also, I don’t see a wrist or heal grounding strip on those technicians, they are just asking for latent failures on the electronics.

I certainly dun mind any type of propaganda. But wat is the selling point of this thingy for me to thinning my wallet to this company? Why can’t I buy other company’s similar product? Wat’s so special about this thing?
September 10th, 2008 at 2:21 am
Well, those girls are really hot, but I see them just only as some babes. That will definitely not make my decision when choosing a product to buy, even if they were naked (which would not be in my opinion so hot after all, because - you know - well chosen wearing makes them much hotter ;-).
But when I look at those pictures twice, there is definitely some perturbative element … oh, I see now - that element is the graphics card. In fact - there is absolutely no reason why would so nice girl hold such a piece of hardware in that environment. So, for me it is definitely “too transparent” marketing.

It’s not too transparent. These girls are representing the looks of 4850 buyers and they’re just some random few new proud owners of that card. Would you like to be as cool as those chicks or buy something else ?
