He has specified that it had to be nvidia, that’s why I said wait. Else I would have said go ATi now.
Besides, R800 isn’t actually a massive performance increase like R700 was. I think that was reported here, maybe not, but yeah.

How will it be cheaper fools when clearly more stuff is added but on the same 65nm.

“Wait until the 55/40nm cards come out in Q1 2009.” and what then? well amd is gonna come with The R800 series, so any plans nvidia has is of no use. Old Technology Vs new Technology.

Well, i need something this year(and its gotta be Nvidia). So if the new 216SP GTX260 is slightly cheaper, or its introduction will cause a price reduction in the older model..then i’ll wait and see, September 16 isn’t far off…

thanks. So its still 65 nm. Any idea what the price will be, will it be cheaper or more expensive than the current GTX 260? I’m planning on building a new computer soon, maybe i should wait?
