Foxconn X58 “Blood Rage” more preview
As we know, the “Blood Rage” is the flagship X58 mobo of Foxconn. Now there are more pictures here of its specific.
It’s different from another X58 that has three slots for DDR3 memory only, but there are 3-phase power supply for memory. Yet, there are 14-phase power supply for CPU.
By the way, there are 8 mounting holes for CPU cooler on board, so it can support the LGA775 socket as well as the LGA1366 socket.

Just 3 memory slot? I hope this motherboard is < $200 then.

single slot per mem channel means easy oc, since there’s little traces on the mb to deal with.
it’s logical once we have 6GB 3-way kits and almost anyone cares to put 8-12GB full time.

Amazing one!,but i think the bloomfield may need much more ferrites.
For me ,these PCI-Es are too close from each other,3 Way SLI (GTX 280 Standard fan heatpipe) on this board is impossible.

yea weird, there’s like 4 pci-express and they still managed to misplace them

3SLI…maybe only record breakers would take it.
very pricey and few games adopt PhysX or do well with Triple half-speed interface x16/x8/x8

The red and black looks real nice. But the 3 memory slots are a big drawback. How is someone supposed to run their memory in dual channel if they are using 3 slots? They can’t, which makes this a 2 slot memory board.

@TC: The core I7 memory controller has a triple channel memory controller.
.
So each slot has it’s own channel

what the hell man, 8x pci 2.0 never took a single frame from ANY game, let alone in SLI
