Intel core i7 CPU comes early, retail version get!

Intel’s official launch still few days after, but channels all around the world just ignore the date. So today we’ve got a chance to get a Core i7 920 retail version.

Core i7 920 runs at 2.66GHz, L2 cache 256KB per core, L3 shared cache 8MB, the integrated memory controller supports tri-channel DDR3 memory 800MHz/1066MHz, TDP 130W. Today the CPU’s price is 2450CNY, around 358USD.

    Yikes, plus the price of a DDR3 motherboard and DDR3 RAM, I think I will skip for now and wait for a price drop.

    get a yorkfield now that they’re cheap and wait for x58 and nehalem price drop and bug fix
