PowerColor HD 4850 GDDR4 preview

PowerColor HD 4850 GDDR4 comes into market already. It uses the reference PCB, but features 512MB of GDDR4 memory clocked at 1100MHz and the core clocked is 675MHz.
The memory is “K4U52324QE-BC08″ of samsung and it can work at a higher frequency than default (1100MHz).The GPU cooler was Apack Zerotherm GX810.
Anyway, the card’s shortcoming is that the power supply shrinks compared to reference, and the capacitance is also reduced.
HD 4850 GDDR4 can be available now, and the price is 183USD.

i really want to know how silent that fan really is… it resembles the stock cooler A LOT. on the other hand, i don’t believe those ramsinks are enough cooling for the cards GDDR4 chips (same goes for the power phases). i wonder how much it overclocks…

seems to be copper cooling the gddr4 chips. And the gpu gets copper with a really efficient airflow
