More and more companies jumped on the SSD bandwagon, launching their SSD product. A-Data is one of them, and recently they’ve released 300 series SSD.

A-Data plans to release 300 series, 500 series and 700 series SSD, which means low end, med end and high end SSD. Though 300 series is only a low end SSD, its performance is not “low”: according to the official statement, currently released 300 series SSD read speed reaches 150MB/s, write speed reaches 100MB/s. So we can expect higher performance with 500/700 series.

Inside 2.5″ SATA II 300 series SSD it packs with 8 Samsung K9LBG08U0M PCB0 NAND flash chips and one JMicron JMF602 controller. The SSD currently hits shelf in HK, also can be seen in Mainland China days later. The price of A-DATA 2.5″ SATA II 300 series 32GB SSD is only around 120USD, a 64GB version also available, prices tag is only around 190USD.
