Phenom II X4 940 overclocks to 5.92GHz stable
AMD’s 45nm Phenom II processors such as Deneb, has a good potential for overclocking. Some times ago, AMD was demonstrated that Phenom II can over the 5GHz through the liquid nitrogen refrigeration. But it can reach a higher mark.
Now, form the Markbench.blogspot, we can find a better mark in it. Form the picture we can see that the Phenom II X4 940 was successfully overclocking to 5.92GHz. It’s very impressive, and it was through the stability test by “ORTHOS”.
By the way, the test platform were that: Asus M3A79-T Deluxe、DDR2 CSX 1066MHz 2*2GB、Gigabyte 4870X2 and Phenom II X4 940.

I call it fake. Just look at the speed and the FSB: That would give a 29.6 multiplier LOL?!

They have unlocked multiplers silly…

A blurred out multiplier, because as the first person said, x29.6!? Thats absolutely bollocks. Suspicious much?

Its fake, it was exposed at Xtremesystems. The author says he’s using “Win XP 32bit SP3″ but the GPUZ shows “Vista64″. And that was just one of the examples of the fraud exposed!
Please spread the word. That blog is a fraud!

This is a fake. Go to the source website, there he mentions he did the tests on Windows XP SP3. In the screenshot of GPU-Z, you can vaguely see in the driver column “Vista 64″. Impossible.
