Intel to Ship B43 in December Supporting 2 DIMM Only |
As we know, Intel will introduce a new chipset – B43 for business platforms in Q1 next year. But according to the roadmap, Intel shall start shipping B43 chipset to motherboard manufacturers from Dec 7th. It seems that B43 motherboards will hit the market next January.

If you presume Core 2 Series are about to retire with the launch of Core i7 processor, then you’re far from right. Intel predicts Nehalem’s shipment will take up only 10 percent till Q3 2009, and then Nehalem family will be added a new member – Lynnfield processor which targets at mainstream & high-performance market. The pricing of Core i7 shall descend as well.
