SPARKLE Brings Us A Sparkle of Calibre P980X+ Graphics Cards With Fly Fan

 

Yesterday Sparkle announced its latest production – Calibre GeForce 9800GTX+ Graphics Card. It looks fantastic with exclusively-designed Calibre fly fan. According to the official introduction, it features pure copper thermal base and dual cooling fans with 0.2 mm thin cooling fins. Besides, the two fans of Calibre Fly Cooling System can be adjusted aslant, so not only MOS circuit on PCB can get cooled effectively, the whole cooling efficiency can be improved too.

Microsoft to Finish More Updates Following IE8 Beta 2

 

Microsoft has already launched Windows Internet Explorer Beta2. Perhaps some people prefer to wait for the final release of IE8, but Microsoft has suggested that final release is far from completely finished. More Beta versions will come up in the first quarter of next year whereas we have no idea of when exactly the formal version will be out.

S3 Graphics Card with DX10.1/OpenGL3.0 Support Available at $44.95

Lately, S3 Graphics issues Chrome 500 Series VGA Card supporting DirectX10.1 and OpenGL 3.0 applications. It claims to be the first graphics card to support OpenGL 3.0, but NVIDIA had already unveiled a driver supporting OpenGL 3.0 for GeForce 8000/9000 Series. There are no games supporting OpenGL 3.0 as yet. John Carmack from id Software might be interested in working on this.

NVIDIA Exposes Its First BigBang II Driver

 

Today NVIDIA offers its first BingBang II driver – 180.48 WHQL-certified Driver. Its integrated Physx edition is named as 8.10.13. This driver was scheduled to launch at the same time as Intel X58 platform, but actually one day later. According to the nv_disp.inf file, 180.48 Driver was packaged on Nov 12nd.
