GeForce GTX285 Gets Reviewed

GeForce GTX285 outperforms GTX280 in 3DMark Vantage score. In most games, the improvement reaches 10 frames. Of course GeForce GTX285 can’t match Radeon HD4870 X2. Anyway, from what we see, the performance of GeForce GTX285 doesn’t make us down.

Considering the drive of this card hasn’t been updated yet, ForceWare 180.48 is adopted for this review. The performance of GeForce GTX285 still has room to improve.

    Why uses the catalyst 8.11?

  2. hifi Says:

They just overclocked GTX 280 to match the frequencies of GTX 285.
The performance of a real card may be different.

  3. no Says:

Well it usually works quite well, and goes to show you how stupid it is to pay more for a factory overclock

  4. Headfoot Says:

Good thing it ISNT just a factory overclock smarty. It’s a 55nm die shrunk version of it, so it’s actually quite different. Look it up next time before you say uninformed things.

  5. SiliconDoc Says:

Another redfan biased screed site. One clearly has to ask why the GTX295 isn’t anywhere to be found in the charts.
I guess they wanted to show how the 4870×2 is still king dong card. lol
    HOW PATHETIC.

The thing is, that not many people wont buy the GTX295 because if the price.
