Galaxy Unleashes the First Non-reference 55nm GeForce GTX 260

As a main partner of NVIDIA, Galaxy launched GeForce GTX 260+ Overclocking Edition graphics cards as early as October 2008. At that time, compared with HD4870 sold at above RMB2000 (around $292), GTX 260+ OC Edition with 216 stream processors available at RMB1999 ($291.8) was quite popular among enthusiasts. And now Galaxy becomes the first one to unveil non-reference 55nm GeForce GTX 260, which indicates its powerful Research & Development ability.

As the first non-reference 55nm GeForce GTX 260, it has shared the same PCB design with reference GTX 260, without shrinks on specifications. Galaxy 55nm GeForce GTX260 is coming with the latest 55nm G200-300-B2 and 216 stream processors. Equipped with Samsung 1.0ns DRAM, Galaxy 55nm GeForce GTX260 is coming with 896MB/448bit and default clock of 625/1350/2100MHz, up from 576/1242/1998MHz on reference card.

Galaxy GeForce GTX260 employs 4+1 phase power supply design and detached power supply for memory & core. It has used the first-class solid capacitance and enclosed inductance from Japan. Dual 6-pin power supply connectors ensures the stablity of power supply. The card also provides dual DVI+TV-OUT which supports kinds of dual-output modes so as to realize 2560×1600 high-revolution output.

Carrying on considerate design for gamers, GTX 260 provides dual BIOS and voltage jumper.
According to our source, Galaxy non-reference 55nm GeForce GTX260 will be available just after Chinese New Year, and the price is quite close to Galaxy GeForce GTX 260+ OC Edition.
