Leadtek Introduces New WinFast GTX 260 EXTREME+
According to TcMagzine, Leadtek has now announced its 55nm GeForce GTX260 graphics card.

Like its 65nm editon, this card is also named as WinFast GTX260 EXTREME+. The only difference is the robot on the package has changed to a cool car. Featuring reference design, WinFast GTX260 EXTREME+ comes with 216 stream processors, GDDR3 and 448bit memory interface. Equipped with dual-DVI and S-Video connectivity, its core/shader/memory clock is 602/1242/1998MHz respectively.
Expected to available soon, 55nm WinFast GTX260 EXTREME+ should be priced at around $310.

Sometime to compete, if you are femous brand, just use reference desain. That will bring down the price.

I don’t get why they give it a name like Extreme+ when its not even overclocked let allow have a nice fancy heat sink or heaven forbid a redesigned PCB!!
I guess the hope is it will be dirt cheap and overclock as well as any other pre-overclocked 55nm 260’s.
the 260’s are going to have to come down in price now though as the 280’s are selling for ยฃ229, $314 with the arrival of the 285 and 295.
God i’m sad!
