AMD’s RV790 and RV740 samples specifications gain clarity

AMD’s first RV790 samples was in operation for several days, and the RV740 samples was complete for a long time.
According to the HardWare-Infos, the RV790 samples equipped with 1GB GDDR5 memory of Qimonda, it working at 750/900MHz(core/memory), and have 256-bit memory interface. In addition, other spec are unknow.
The RV740 sample also equipped the GDDR5 mmory, the core frequency is 700MHz, and memory between 512MB and 1GB runs with 800MHz to 900MHz, it have 128-bit memory interface. Basec on 40nm, it have 640SP, 32TMUs and 8ROPs (Note: original 16ROPs was wrong).
However, these are only engineer samples, the final produces be likely to change.

8 ROP? Will it bottleneck the card in high resolutions?

@SJ
the 8 ROP R for RV740 not RV790
RV740 used for Mid/low profile GPUs..

i mean, 640sp can do a lot, like the 4830 can deal with 1600×1200 quite good, but 8 ROP will bottleneck the card quite well right? Like what happened with 3800 series.
