XFX Offers GeForce 9600GSO Far Cry2 Edition Packed With 1.5GB Memory

XFX has recently brought out a fairly creative graphics card, GeForce 9600GSO Far Cry2 Edition. Its special package design is really refreshing, but in a strange way, the package is marked with “GeForce 9600″, instead of “GeForce 9600GSO”.
GeForce 9600GSO Far Cry2 Edition has undoubtedly bundled with the game Far Cry2. Based on G92 core, it features 1536MB GDDR2 and 96 stream processors. It will ship with 192-bit memory interface and core/shader/memory clock of 584/1450/800MHz (Data rate: 1600MHz).
The pricing of XFX 9600GSO Far Cry2 Edition is unknown yet, but it should be competitively priced.

1.5GB of memory on a 9600GSO? What a joke…Perfect for idiots who buy video cards based on the amount of memory though.
