Windows Vista Service Pack 2 Release Candidate (Build 16670.090130-1715 v.286) has been leaked by NGOHQ. But it seems there is an installation bug with it. Installation may fail and show a OxC004F013 error code sometimes. You can download Microsoft’s System Update Readiness Tool (KB947821), run “slmgr.vbs -rearm”, reboot and try installing SP2 again.

ATI Catalyst 9.2 Display Driver Released

 

Last night AMD launched ATI Catalyst 9.2 Display Driver for Windows XP/Vista 32/64-bit operating systems. This new release has brought several performance improvements such as Crysis DX10 gains up to 20%, Crysis Warhead DX10 gains up to 20%, and World in Conflict gains up to 5%.

Foxconn Shows Off Flaming Blade Motherboard

 

Foxconn brings out another model of X58 motherboard, Flaming Blade. Different from Blood Rage, Flaming Blade uses main color of black, featuring three DDR3 memory slot. The number of its PCIe X16 slots has reduced to 2, and the debug LED is also removed. Nothing about specs was found at Foxconn website.
