Yesterday we said Powercolor is working on a non-reference HD 4890, and now Powercolor announces it’s planning a new custom liquid cooled Radeon HD 4890.

The Powercolor LCS (Liquid Cooling Solution) HD 4890 features 1GB GDDR5 memory and the card works at 900MHz for the core and 1000MHz for the memory. Equipped with EK Water Blocks cooling system, Powercolor LCS HD4890 provides nice thermal performance, enhancing gaming performance in a cool and stable operating environment.

Powercolor LCS HD4890 has a full water block mounting on the card, fully covering memory and power regulator chip. With copper based design, it is able to reduce temperature up to 20℃ compared with reference design. Besides, the Powercolor package includes high-flow 3/8″ and 1/2″ fittings to maximize water flow with capatured o-rings to prevent leakage. Gamers can easily build up their own liquid cooling system using these two fittings.

Slated to be available on April 16th, Powercolor LCS HD4890 is priced at $339.
