Asus Plans Another M-ATX Motherboard: Maximus II Gene

Following with the preceding Gene – the ROG Rampage II Gene Motherboard, Asus has added an integral Gene to its ROG lineup.

Based on Intel P45 Express chipset, the Maximus II Gene supports the Core 2 Extreme/Quad/Duo platform and CrossFire. Coming with 4 DDR2 dual-channel memory slots, dual PCIe X16 slots, a PCIe X1 and PCI slot, 7 SATA, 1 eSATA and IDE ports, Maximus II Gene offers high-end features including MemOK!, CPU Level Up and SupremeFX X-Fi.

The release data and pricing are not announced though.
