Phenom II X4 955 Makes An Early Appearance in Hong Kong

 

AMD will reportedly launch its new flagship CPU the Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition on April 20th. The guys at TechPowerUp indicates that someone has actually purchased it from Hong Kong at HKD2170 ($280) and taken a few sweet pictures of the package.

IBM Semi Alliance Working on 28nm Technology

 

IBM and its partners have announced that they’re focusing on the joint development 28nm technology, high-k metal gate (HKMG) and low-power bulk complementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS). The alliance is made of IBM, Chartered Semiconductor Manufacturing, Globalfoundries, Infineon, Samsung Electronics and STMicroelectronics.
