NVIDIA GT300 Targets 225W TDP

 

As we reported, G300 will be based on 40nm manufacturing process, featuring 2.4 billion transistors, 495mm2 package, 512 shaders, 512-bit memory interface, GDDR5 and core/shader/memory clock of 700/1600/1100MHz. The TDP was rummored to be 300W, e.g. one 8pin and one 6pin power connector.

AMD Plans Price Cut For Radeon HD 4800 Series in July

 

AMD will introduce a price-cut for its Radeon HD 4890/4870/4850 from next month, according to vr-zone. The price cut may amount to as much as US$50, which is to reduce the GPU inventory and make way for the RV870 in September.
