Prolimatech Megahalems Beats Ultra 120 Extreme
Introduction
When we’re told the DFI LanParty CPU cooler actually came from Prolimatech, we started to notice this new company. Actually, the cooling solution provider has unveiled several large-size coolers, but Megahelems has been the most-watched one than any others.

Based in Taiwan, Prolimatech was established in 2008 by an ex-employee of Thermalright (Interesting enough, huh?). Though it’s such a new brand, its Megahalems has already become one of the best-selling coolers in the US, Europe and Japan.
We’re fortunate enough to grasp one Megahalems sample and give it a thorough review. Do you think it will beat the air-cooling king Thermalright Ultra 120E? Just read on to find the answer!

Notice how the heatpipes are placed in relation to the fan. They take advantage of the high airflow area better that way. Also 6 pipes is a good design choice. If it’s a tight fit you can always cut some of the fins to get it to fit.
