Microsoft to Exclude ARM Netbooks For Windows 7

 

ARM ever thought that the upcoming Windows 7 operating system would run on netbooks powered by their chips, and was aiming for a 30% share of the entire netbook market next year, but the company should be quite disappointed as Microsoft has recently denied about this.

“For people who want a PC, albeit a different chipset, we don’t think those will work very well, “Steve Guggenheimer, Microsoft’s corporate Vice President for original equipment manufacturers, told Reuters during an interview at ComputeX.
