Intel Updates CPU Launch Schedule

Intel has updated its launch schedule for notebook-based Clarksfield CPUs, desktop-based Lynnfield CPUs and several server CPUs, according to Digitimes.

Desktop-based Lynnfield processors and P55 chipsets will be announced between September 8-11, while the Clarksfield processors, including Core 2 Extreme XE 2GHz, Core 2 Quad P2 1.73GHz and Core 2 Quad P1 1.6GHz, will debut sometime at the end of September or early October this year.

Intel also plans to announce Celeron SU2300 and Celeron 743 for CULV (Consumer Ultra-Low Voltage) platforms.

Intel is going to launch Xeon W5590, W3580, W3550 and L5530 for servers in early August, and expand its offerings in September with Xeon X3470, 3460, 3450, 3440 and 3430, along with 3400 and 3420 chipsets.
