We got Microsoft’s confirm about the new Zune HD using the NVIDIA Tegra chip back in June, and Microsoft has now made the portable media player available for preorder.

The black version of the 16GB Zune HD is retailing for $219.99, and the platinum variant of 32GB costs $289.99. The Zune HD will be available in three additional color options (blue, green and red) along with 10 custom designs, and is expected to hit retail starting September 15th.
